The thing is that the more idealistic our model of what people are supposed to be doing, the more likely the mentally disordered or dysfunctional population will vastly outnumber those who manage to be healthy in that restrictive sense. So we may lower the bar, which is itself a political act rather than anything like a scientific discovery.
