You're saying there are naturalistic, non-Christian grounds for liberal morality, and I agree.

Gray's argument is that those grounds turn out to depend on dubious Christian assumptions. He'd say kin selection doesn't give you the universal aspect of liberalism, and that only monotheism would do so.
