You're right that my view of nature defers to what I regard as the scientific consensus, which we can think of as realism about physicality, based on science's methods of objectification. That doesn't mean I'm dogmatic about this, but that would be a separate question, whether the universe is a simulation, and what that would mean. We all have to start somewhere in building our worldviews. I start from naturalism.
