You're missing the point. I can't speak to the books of his I haven't read, and I agree that we're all indoctrinated in some ways when we're children. Not everyone's an apologist for their worldview, though. It takes self-awareness and humility to realize that because we've been indoctrinated, we're unlikely to have the absolute truth in our back pocket. That counts against Christianity and the other monotheistic religions.
Sure, I defend my worldview in my writings, but I rely on arguments, science, and rhetoric. I don't appeal to divine revelation or to miracles. Lennox de-emphasizes the theoretical aspect of his religion, but he falls back on it when he needs to. And just because Lennox is less obnoxious and more reasonable-sounding than other apologists, doesn't mean his salesmanship should be accepted as it stands.
