You wouldn't have to censor Trump in a halfway healthy society, because most people would laugh off such an obvious buffoon and con man. Demagogues capitalize on the flaws of society, so the more unhealthy a culture is, the more opportunities for fraudsters. The fact that so many people voted for Trump the second time, after they saw exactly what Trump is all about is a testament to a much greater problem with the US. Censoring Trump would be like closing the barn door after all the animals escaped.
