You mean that scientistic economics isn't able to address value-laden philosophical questions that are obviously relevant to economic behaviour. But economics wasn't always scientistic. Classical economists were philosophical. The flight to the mathematical trappings of scientism is a dodge, a passing of the buck to keep economic rationalizations of capitalistic narrow-mindedness and of corporate sociopathy intact.
