You lost me a little in the middle there. I think you're talking about cryptocurrency and how it will somehow do away with the profit motive. We'd need another motive to work in that case.
I'll be writing an article on this soon, since the artistic motive is already different from the capitalist one, which is why artists keep working even though they're not making a living as artists. It's not just because they dream of being rich and famous; rather, it's because they love the artistic process. Their job is a vocation. If everyone worked like artists or like the creative class, the profit motive would be redundant. All we'd need, then, would be a universal basic income, paid for with taxes.
