Yet I explore the merits of what I've called Animism 2.0, of a pantheistic, re-enchanted vision of nature that harkens back to pre-civilized times.
The question isn't whether primitive societies had any positive value. Of course they did. But the responsibilities of living as nomads in the wild aren't the same as those of managing a sedentary society, a civilization.
So the question might be whether a full-blown civilization could be sustained on the basis of a dream culture. That's rather like what I envision for a transhuman society.
