Saying you'd have liked me to focus on something else is one thing. Criticizing the article for being abstract and not empirical enough is something else. I focused on the big picture because I wrote that article rather than a different one. It is what it is. (And for some reason the Medium algorithm seems to have taken notice of this article.)

Do you think capitalism is imposed solely by the government? I'd say history and culture contribute the relevant traditions, institutions, and perhaps indoctrinations. But we've been through that before.
