Yes, I saw that too. It's a hostile (pro-economics) source I cited, which is why its admission in the first paragraph is so important (my emphasis):
"There's an image popular in some quarters of economist consultants cashing in with six-figure paydays for the sake of funding their beach houses, their children's private school tuition, and their skiing vacations in Gstaad. That probably does happen here and there..."
The article downplays the importance of that admission, which is consistent with my claim about the enrichment of the leading economists (roughly the top 1 percent), by talking about a survey of some 1,200 economists, which paints a different picture. Yeah, the bottom 99 percent live differently than the top 1 percent. That's not surprising and it's consistent with my thesis.
