Yeah, it's a question of perspective and of keeping the big picture in the back of your mind.

Certainly, technological advances are dangerous, but so is consumerism and we've practically automated the latter lifestyle. We live dangerously. Natural creativity itself is dangerous. There's not much absolute safety anywhere, since time marches on.

If technology emerges that can greatly empower us, we'll likely risk it and merge that much more with our devices.
