Yeah, but when scientific types like Bertrand Russell, Lawrence Krauss, and Sean Carroll speak of brute natural facts, that's just rank scientism, as in an anti-philosophical prejudice. The implication is that knowledge ends where scientific objectifications stop, leaving no room for philosophical conjectures. Alas, scientism is philosophical, so that prejudice amounts to a performative self-contradiction, as has long been established in the history of Western philosophy.
