Yeah, but comparing the current Democrats to Abraham or to any literary hero is ludicrous.

This is the subject of my next political article: how the craziness of the GOP adds up to epic embarrassment for the Democrats, because they're not sweeping the board against the Republicans. Americans are using the demonic, Trumpian GOP as a protest vote against the establishment, so the crazier and more malevolent the GOP gets, the more the Democrats should take it personally--unless they manage to achieve major victories in the upcoming elections, which is highly unlikely (for structural reasons too).
