Wow. So exploring the universe is the same as exploring God. That entails pantheism, not monotheism, which is heretical in Christianity.

You criticize me for not presenting God's view in my article. But can't God speak for himself? Are Christians sure to present the atheist's perspective in all their articles and books? Or the Hindu's or the Buddhist's or the Muslim's? So why should the atheist have to provide equal time to that which he or she rejects?

Plus, I was responding to Eric Sentell, not to God. Is that alright with you? Am I allowed to talk to one person rather than another? If only you were living in the medieval period, back under the totalitarian Church in Europe. Then indeed, everyone around you would be vain enough to claim to speak for God or to know what's on his mind.

I suppose Texas will have to suffice for you. Buffets still in Austin, eh? With the pandemic still raging and all. But I suppose you're certain that that's what God wants too. You know exactly where to go for that bit of divination in the Bible, right? To find that it's righteous to fight for "freedom" by doing stupid things in a pandemic. So moral, so enlightened is the conservative American "Christian."

You say I'm wasting time and am being vain in writing "nothing articles" like this one. Of course, that observation applies even more to your long, rambling comments.

My articles certainly aren't as popular as more superficial articles on Medium. That's how the algorithm works, since it mostly caters to the lowest common denominator. I try to inject some higher quality work into the mix, to spread philosophy to the masses--just as I'm sure you think you're doing with your religion. Does the unpopularity of your comments slow you down? No, because you believe in what you're doing.

No, there's no atheism or theism in our DNA. Nor is there morality, religion, science, philosophy, or technology in it. Does that mean we should live as animals rather than as people, to stick to what's genetically determined?
