Would you be interested in debating this question, “Why would God care about morality?” so we could post the exchange on our respective Medium pages? I enjoy a good philosophical or theological dialogue. I’ve done this recently with another Medium user (link below), although that back-and-forth maybe turned out to be a little long.

If you’re interested, I propose we confine our posts to roughly 300 to 600 words each, and we begin by answering the question directly (without necessarily addressing my article, although I would bring in some of its arguments). Those two posts would be our opening statements. Then we could go back and forth a few times, responding to those initial posts and to the responses that follow.

We could have the discussion in this comment section or we could have it by email. You wouldn’t have to post your email address online, but could use the Contact form on my blog (second link below), and then I’d respond to that initial message by email. I find posting in these comment sections cramped and buggy, but either way. The last one I did wasn’t by email.
