Why, then, are you so openminded? Is that just a whim or is that attitude based on an underlying conviction? For example, someone might be opposed to dogma and might prefer skeptical reason because the person thinks the latter is more progressive than the former. So this stance would presuppose a longing for a certain future, such as one in which reason has empowered everyone with advanced technology.
If you truly hold nothing sacred, that open-mindedness shouldn't include any repulsion towards "blind reverence." You would just be going with the flow, like Jim Carrey in "Yes Man," in which he says yes to everything that presents itself. You'd have no character that distinguishes your impact on the world. As I said, such a "person" wouldn't be so interesting because he'd blend into the background. It's also possible you haven't thought much about your deeper convictions because you're taking them for granted.
