Where do I say that "alpha males strive for the top of hierarchy"? Are you talking about my remark on the demonization of Satan, who tried to usurp God's power?

If "alphaness" is a set of attributes, it doesn't follow that those individuals are always top dogs. They can lose out if only by accident. The question was whether someone with beta attributes can become an alpha. I don't have a strong opinion on that, but the point is that I don't think you accurately characterized what I said. Indeed, most of your criticisms here are of the strawman variety.

You don't think dominance hierarchies are common in groups of social animals? That would be the relevant sociobiological fact.

Did I say that all creative acts are destructively so? That's a strawman. What I said is that "you often have to destroy something old to create something new." Mind you, the newness of a musical genre destroys the older forms, as one fad gives way to another. Video killed the radio star. And who knows what there was "before" the Big Bang?

Maybe if you stopped frothing at the mouth, you could think straight.
