What's irksome isn't religion that's based on hope or speculation. No, what's irksome is fraud or self-deception. The pretense of apologists like KT is that religious belief is as rational as philosophy or science. That gives reason a bad name.

And I don't put much effort into these articles. You're reacting to the fact that I recently put out this series on KT's arguments. But I write on lots of topics, and this is more like a hobby for me. It's not hard for a trained philosopher to see what's wrong with apologetical arguments for theism.

My existential and pragmatic take on epistemology is close to fideism. I've written several articles on how rationality is beside the point of religious belief or practice. I've also written on mysticism.
