What you say here sounds reasonable, but it's splitting hairs. Do you think economists have as exact knowledge in their field--however you want to defined "exact"--as do theoretical physicists in the area of quantum mechanics? As they currently stand, are the measurements and conceptions in economics as rigorous and precise as those of quantum mechanics? Is that your understanding?
If not, what's the source of the difference, in your view and in brief?
