What does geology have to do with religion, though? Are you saying we should always be talking about geology, never about anything else, because everything other than the set of geological processes is bullshit? That would be a bizarre form of eliminativism. It would amount to the worship of nature, I think, and certainly not to any strictly scientific judgment.
