The naturalistic, existential, transhumanist dualism I defend needn't be fatalistic in the way you caricature it. I don't say that because life is absurd, therefore we should go on with consumerism and destroy the planet. I've never said anything like that. On the contrary, I talk about countercultures challenging the mainstream with revolutionary insights and art, and I repudiate scientism, consumerism, and neoclassical economics. I've also highlighted the importance of the environmental crisis, and I use that to critique secular humanism.
