Well, theism is technically and historically a philosophical claim, but the question is whether that claim has been made in good faith, or whether it's a noble lie.
As I said in the debate, theism is a philosophical rationalization of unphilosophical, folk/vulgar prejudices, superstitions, illusions, and so on. What comes first are folklore, myths, and exoteric religious creeds. Then some intellectuals pander to folks by rationalizing the exoteric intuitions.
Or if you want to look at it the other way around, what comes first are esoteric, atheistic, mystical , countercultural insights, and the folks wrestle with those ultimate truths and end up trivializing them with exoteric, literalistic, vain, self-serving religious personifications.
There may be some continuity between my worldview and esoteric religious traditions. But atheism is a flat denial of at least exoteric theism.
Cosmicist, existential pantheism is supposed to make for a noble religious outlook for transhumans (the potential descendants of present-day secular humanists).
