Well said, although I don't claim to be an expert on the occult. I'm speaking very broadly here of hidden wisdom, and I suspect there's a sociological pattern that frustrates the democratic, generous occultist. So indeed, we can expect that obstacle to cut across environments, from the old religions to the new online forums.

The "illiteracy" arises partly, I think, from the politicization of wisdom or of artistic or philosophical insights, politicization that's needed to manage large groups, but that nonetheless distracts and corrupts the leaders and members. Commercialization works in a similar way. Plus, the medium's the message, so online forums contribute their structural biases which can elevate or taint the contents they convey.
