Well, much postmodernism certainly sounds like BS because it's presented in pretentious philosophical "Continental," often French prose. But when you look past the style, much of the substance of postmodernists' characterization of the state of late-industrial civilization is on target. Postmodernism is far from being the same as the cult of Wokeness; rather, postmodernism is about what happened to modernity. And Peterson's take on Marxism is indeed worthless; it's pure scapegoating.

I don't say that Peterson has nothing worthwhile to contribute. For one thing, even a broken clock is right twice a day. When you delve into the existential thinkers, and you have a medical expert's self-confidence so you do a lot of talking, you're bound to make some interesting claims once in awhile.

But as I show in an upcoming article, even on religion Peterson's not so trustworthy since he dodges the question of his personal religious beliefs. Mind you, now that he's teamed up with Ben Shapiro, he'll likely emerge as more forthrightly religious.
