Well, I'm doing a series now to expose the travesty of conservatism. One of the articles will be on Michael Oakshott's view of the conservative disposition, which I think gets at why some folks fall for the conservative smokescreens. It's a question of the authoritarian character or the cautious, prejudiced disposition.
