Well, he'd say those are the natural facts, so the question is how much we ought to defer to nature. Conservatives say we should respect such natural "rights" and let nature takes its course. That's social Darwinism. Liberals say we should do better than nature; indeed, they'd say that that's what makes us people rather than animals.

Peterson doesn't know what he is because he has a conflict of interest. He's really just a liberal, but he's in the position of having to appeal to an alt-right audience. So he has to talk out of both sides of his mouth.
