The spiritual or existentially authentic lifestyle is one of humility and withdrawal from nature's absurdity. When you seek earthly dominance, you're turning your religion into a hollow disgrace. That incoherence gives license to all manner of corruptions, because the theocrat has cut himself off from his moral compass.
