Vervaeke does have have some insights. I heard him give a talk in Toronto. He's too Taoist for me, though. I don't see how the scientific side of his worldview survives the declaration that things don't exist. That's the dark miracle of the universe's fallenness into self-creative matter and energy. Material things are real enough. They're what scientists study. There are levels of reality, but favouring one at another's expense may be too reductive, unless he can show how the multiplicity reduces to the unity. That would amount to a scientific theodicy.
