Trump's authoritarianism could be a harbinger of that. But you're saying the political ideologies aren't as important as the economic class differences. Indeed, wealth seems to corrupt both conservatives (animalists, aristocrats, etc) and socialists (e.g. communists) as long as they're empowered. You can have the best of intentions, but when you're given control over millions of people's lives, you begin to think you're a god who's above morality.
Thus, the wealthy would have to be periodically checked (killed or imprisoned) to prevent their corruption from taking down the whole of society. Of course, a benevolent dictator can easily be followed by a corrupt one too. Perhaps we'll have to give the power of government over to our impersonal machines?
