Trump does have endless troubles, as you say, but it also looks a little like you're trying to speak this outcome into reality.
You say "American voters sent him packing," but that's obviously an oversimplification since he got 74 million votes. Trump's a symbol of what's rotten with American society, and that's a powerful thing. The more troubles Trump faces and the more grotesque he seems, the greater his power to stand for American decline and derangement.
Whether he can be reelected fairly isn't really the question, since the political system is broken and cheating or at least the resort to bad faith tactics is the norm, and Trump excels at both. I expect that what will really tell the tale is whether Trump can overcome the lawsuits.
