Transhumanism is sort of the optimistic side of my writings, and of secular humanism, too, I think. It's only conjectural, of course, but the more we rely on and identify implicitly with technology, the more transhuman we physically become. What interests me more is the likely change in mindset. I think of the transhuman mindset as a kind of enlightenment.
