Those are multiple personal attacks. The article isn't about me so much as about a theme of the intellectual counterculture. The universal love these intellectuals promote, at best, isn't the romantic kind. Romantic love seems like an immoral (selfish) distraction from our higher calling.

You say this is "ignorant," so what's the argument missing?

Also, there would be no inconsistency in an incel wanting to spread an anti-romance message, by engaging socially with others. Just because someone's against romantic love doesn't mean she's opposed to all social engagement. Mind you, some saints, ascetics, and monks do take it to that extreme. But I'm talking specifically about eros.
