Those are good points. I'm speaking of intellectuals very broadly, including anyone who's preoccupied with ideas, as opposed to people, places, or things.

There are two main kinds of anti-social folks, I'd say: the criminal class and the intellectual class. The latter are relatively anti-social because they're wrapped up in their ideas, including their art, philosophies, meditations, mentally deranged ravings, and so forth.
