This article isn't about leftist political correctness or wokeness. I've written numerous articles on that subject, though (with another one coming out tomorrow).

In short, a viable sense of what wokeness has become--which circumvents the conservative's exaggerations--is that wokeness is a kind of Western infantilization, oversensitivity, left-wing political correctness, and decadence. It's a matter of losing perspective, and focusing on relatively trivial issues of identity politics to signal cheap virtue in a hypocritical fashion.
