You've asserted I'm ignorant about religion because I'm not personally religious. You haven't established that that's so. The fact that we learn indirectly about things all the time counts against your line of argument. For example, I know what the moon is even though I've never personally been there.
Moreover, I'd argue that secular society has its "religious," faith-based or otherwise irrational and tribal aspects. So you'd have to distinguish between theism and religion in the sociological sense.
