These disruptions are likely arising because of a greater conflict between the neoliberal establishment (the top ten percent) and everyone else in the US. That's why Bernie Sanders' diagnosis mirrored Trump's. It's radicals against the status quo, which makes sense if there are structural problems with the society.
Libertarianism is something else I criticize, apart from the freedom of speech. But perhaps classic liberal humanism has been "disrupted" by Ayn Randians, millenarian anarchists, and the like (the assclowns).
