There's certainly something weird going on now with credible UFO sightings. I'm keeping an eye on them, although I'm not as convinced as you seem to be. Still, it's certainly worth thinking about the possibilities here. Something I try to wrap my head around in my writings is the transhuman mentality. How would a fully enlightened person think? What would such a mind value? Then again, technological progress doesn't entail social or spiritual advancement.

I'll say this, though: if the visitations were real, they'd bring in their wake high weirdness, as it were. I doubt the alien visitations could be real unless most of what we believe were based on illusions.
