There is a consensus meaning of "God" in English. It's just the dictionary definition. God is the personal creator of the universe who intervenes miraculously in nature's affairs. If God isn't a person, there's no difference between theism and atheism. And if God doesn't intervene in nature, there's no difference between theism and deism.
