There are exceptions to most generalizations. I don't claim to be able to account for everything under the sun in the general terms I lay out in this philosophy. Here I simply laid out an important distinction between the intellectual counterculture that's historically condescended to romantic lovers, and the masses who love love. And I attempted to explain what's at the root of the former's criticism.
