There are certainly some wild ideas in theoretical physics, but building a religion or spiritual sensibility on them is susceptible to the God of the gaps problem.

You might be right, though, that we'll eventually have a paradigm shift that incorporates consciousness into a rigorous theory of matter and energy. For now we can do little more than speculate or dream of what's to come.
