The early Christians tried to distance themselves from Jews and ingratiate themselves with Rome after the Jewish-Roman Wars. Hence, the New Testament's whitewashing of Rome's involvement in Jesus's execution and its scapegoating of Pharisees.

What "belief" are you talking about? The New Testament depicts Jesus as a frustrated prophet, which stands to reason. But this has nothing to do with what I believe. I'm saying that Christianity is incoherent.
