That's well said. She's not the only one who's cuddly as a cactus, though (amusing image!), so those libertarian cactuses may cling to each other. What might attract those folks is the bold obnoxiousness of her message. The invitation is to drop any pretense of civility, as in a Trump rally, and let your abhorrent personality hang out. That would attract troglodytes who are tired of hiding their contemptible attitudes and prejudices. I'm not saying all Rand fans are monsters, but I find that libertarians are more off-putting than average, at least in certain respects.
