That's interesting to hear, and it raises the question of the apologist's purpose. Is the apologist supposed to try to convince non-Christians to agree with Christianity, or to entertain Christians? Who is it that comprises the apologist's audience? I doubt non-Christians would find Chesterton's rhetoric as entertaining as would Christians.
