That's interesting, but it implies that children are narcissistic. They're surely self-absorbed in some ways, but there's a kind of innocence and naivety to their play, I think. They project their imagination onto their environment, which is self-absorbed in some sense, but there's a difference between being caught up in your imagination and being caught up in your ego. That's why I drew a comparison between children and near-death adults.
