That's all a red herring since I'm not expecting to kill a religion with my writings.
There are lots of reasons why certain religions endure. We don't need to appeal to the supernatural to explain that phenomenon, if that's what you were driving at. How does the Christian explain the persistence of the non-Christian religions? As satanic traps? Pseudo-explanations are easy, but they don't increase our understanding.
Christianity's survival depended largely on the chance favour that that particular cult found with the Roman Empire. It was artificial rather than natural selection, and it certainly wasn't a divine choice.
We can also explain the earlier appeal of Christianity as a synthesis of Judaism and paganism (the Greco-Roman Mystery religions and philosophies), one that helped unify and revitalize the empire.
