That was Jung's point, about the devil being God's bad side. And it follows from how monotheism evolved from polytheism. The multiple gods were turned into angels or demons. But as in Hinduism, the way to make sense of monotheism (or mystical monism) is to say that the apparent plurality of things must belong ultimately somehow to the sole divine reality. That means the biblical stories about Satan are really about God's self-doubts.
