That reminds me of an idea I have for an article on why nonbelievers would indeed prefer Hell to Heaven, to get away from the obnoxiousness of Christians.

That's the kernel of truth in that liberal Christian explanation of our alleged destination in the afterlife, the idea being that God doesn't punish or reward anyone. Instead, we all behold God and interpret that reality differently, some being attracted to it and others repulsed by it: Heaven and Hell.
