That overlaps with the transhumanism I incorporate into my philosophical writings. God, as in a mighty, all-knowing mind might evolve out of organic life or AI. That wouldn't amount to theism, though, unless you assumed a cycle of universes in which each is created or recreated by the godlike beings that evolved in the previous one. I think Isaac Asimov wrote a short story about that possibility.
