That is indeed interesting. But are we sure we still have the difference between truth and error if all our beliefs rest on faith?
I think by "error," you must mean "vice" or "sin" since the underlying faith would be an ethical choice (or a miraculous act of divine grace), as far as the Christian's concerned.
Sentell's Christianity here is in danger of being too aligned with postmodernism or with hyper-liberalism. The irony is that my atheism is far from the science-centered "militancy" or certitude that he paints with his caricature of my views. I've reconciled my philosophy with pragmatism, existentialism (Kierkegaardian leaps of faith), and the kernel of truth in postmodern relativism. Does the Christian really want to do the same?
