Thanks. Transhumanism is all about the new and unexpected, though. And it wouldn't require some twist of consciousness to recognize it. Transhumanism rests on science fiction and on conjectures from biology and anthropology, whereas theistic religion rests on plain old cognitive distortions and the indoctrination of children. So that analogy is weak. Anyway, I hardly say anything about that here.
